Gratitude What if there is no tomorrow Would you be thankful You lived a day Would you say, it was a pleasure Thank you Thank you for the memories I will take it with me Be like the birds, singing songs of praise Or the sun that glorifies It's creator with it's beauty Or the moon which glows from sun rays And in all fairness, smile Oh, be the grass, who is happy being small Yet the food source in every chain food chain Be water, fire, earth, air Be you In being you, you emanate gratitude Eight letter words yet powerful Thank you (C) Sharon Dione March 10 |
