Under the moon light
I dance the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 foot steps
To.embrace the shedding of the old me
While I give birth to the me now
Letting go the anger, bitterness that has found its home in me
Under the moonlight
I listen to trees whisper to each other
Of our growth, where we are now
Giving gratitude of our bond
While smiling at me
Under the moonlight
I hear my ancestors clapping for me
Teaching me dance of rebirth
Freedom
Reminding me of my power
My sacredness
My nakedness
My wombness
I am the reincarnated bloodline of the water tribe
The purest there is
Born of chaos
I am transmuted into gold
Born of water and fire
I am the balance my ancestors sort
I am the rainbow they saw and prophesied
In their days of shadows
Under the moonlight
