Lovers of culture and the public of Columbus have been urged to attend the official launching of EYOL’A COLUMBUS, slated for Saturday, June 1, 2024. The invitation was sent out on May 18th, 2024, by the president, Tata Nambeke V. Ngoma. Speaking on Apex 1 Radio, Nambeke said the event will be a golden opportunity for Columbus residents to discover conspicuous aspects of the Bakweri culture, otherwise known as the Mokpe. Also speaking on Apex Snapshot Iya Suzie Mosaso-Fondem, Eyola Columbus Secretary-General who accompanied Nambeke to the radio show, explained that the June 1, 2024, event will be a moment of learning for both the members of the associations and guests. Both leaders talked about the creation of EYOLA COLUMBUS, the group's mission, membership, ambitions, and lots more. They sounded hopeful that EYOLA COLUMBUS will be a great contribution towards the promotion of the Mokpe culture, not only in Central Ohio but across the world.
