June 2024 will be a time to remember in history. For the first time, renowned Haitian songwriter and accomplished dexterous dancer, Emeline Michel will be staging a world-class performance in Ohio’s chief city, Columbus. The artiste’s Columbus showdown falls within the ambits of the maiden annual Haitian Cultural Soiree, billed for Saturday, June 29, 2024. Her performance which promises to be electrifying is expected to attract a sizeable amount of attention, not only from the Haitian community, but also from other immigrant populace and Americans.
According to the CEO of Faveur & Company, the outfit on whose account the Haitian compass and rara star is flying to Columbus, the preparation to receive the artiste has reached higher gear. “That is the reason we are calling on Columbus residents to buy their tickets now for, time is not with us anymore,” Sophia Pierrelus told TIPTOPSTARS and Apex 1 Radio. Pierrelus said further: “It’s a lot of work to have this done, but we trust Emeline Michel’s performance in Columbus will be a success.”
Before her Columbus stop-over, the Haitian singer who was born in Gonaives has performed in Jacksonville in Florida, Boston in Massachusetts, and New York. She will also perform in Littlerock in Arkansas and Chicago in Illinois. The artiste who doubles as a producer also merges jazz, pop, bossa nova, and samba in her songs.
