Who says good music is not the result of years spent behind the scene, acquiring the skills! It could be long, tedious and painstaking, but once they take up the professional platform, singers who go through this process usually enjoy a sweet feedback. That is Adango Salicia Zulu and she fits squarely in this category. The first contact with her voice sends waves of musical pleasure down the spines.

Adango’s Maygamem is display of the singer’s music prowess which shows signs of maturity. The Kim Productions track, a single that is found online, is being savoured with a lot of appetite. It is produced in anticipation of a maiden album which the afrobeats-styled artist intends to release in 2015.

This recent progress is a result of years of behind-the-scene activities in which Adango had been involved until now. Seven of those years were spent as a chorister under the watchful eyes of the legendary Ekambi Brilliant, one of Cameroon’s iconic figures in the music landscape.

In 2012, Adango’s music exploit brought her in touch with the Hip Hop Developpe, a band with which she sojourned in most parts of 2013 as well as performing at several other platforms. Early this year, the artist who has roots from Cameroon and Gabon performed at the Goethe-Institute in Yaounde. Her 2015 album is highly anticipated.
