The North West region of Cameroon vividly remembers one of its prettiest and intellectually impressive beauty queens. Bih Nathalie became Miss North West in 2009 amidst great admiration from fans and the entire population of the region. The then University of Yaounde I student won the hearts of folks via her extra-ordinary elegance, marked by her ever gorgeous outfit. Even Nathalie’s broad and endless smile captured many and opened the beauty queen up for modeling jobs. One of them was a school’s anti-malaria campaign launched and carried out the Institute for Research, Socio-economic Development and Communication, IRESCO. Nathalie starred in one of the campaign’s ads. She also modeled for one of the selling editions of IRESCO’s renowned youth magazine, Among Youths. Just after being named the most beautiful girl in the North West, Nathalie went in for the Miss Cameroon contest and climbed to one of the reasonable stages of the competition. A couple of months after these great strides, the beauty checked out of the country. That was precisely in September 2010. Nathalie, who is also a fine actress, has since been living in Maryland, USA as a Permanent Resident. In a recent meeting with Nathalie in Washington DC, the artist told TIPTOPSTARS Editor that she has not abandoned performing arts, let alone forgetting about her past glories. “I’ve been involved in some film projects here and can say my acting is very much alive,” the former Miss North West told us. The young artist still wears the smile that was known to have been her hallmark. She would still dress up elegantly all the time and speak softly. Before leaving Cameroon, Nathalie featured in several movies including Neba Lawrence’s Royal Destiny produced by Ayi Chatou Inoua. The said movie is starring Solange Yijika, Jim Iyke and Tonto Dikeh, featuring Epule Jeffery amongst others. |
