Keka Sylvester is a hope rising film director Cameroon will be proud of in future. Buraman as he is fondly called has several films to his credit: Principal Slaughter, Engwari, Double Betrayal. When in 2003, Buraman directed Criminal Love, little did he know he was setting the pace for further award winning movies. That year, the said film won the best movie award, three years later, Gentle Solution was nominated for the Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA). That was the first Cameroonian movie to be nominated for the prestigious award. Perhaps Another Chance is the best thing that has happened to his career as a movie director. The movie which he directed in 2008 has had several recognition in Cameroon and abroad. Not only was it named best movie in 2008 Ace Awards, Another Chance was nominated for a British Award in several categories. But what accounts for such success? "Simplicity and my openness to criticism", said the young film maker. He added "I also have a nag for learning." Buraman is also a writer, editor and camera operator.
