Cameroonian movies: The Decision decides to make hilarious entry |

Cameroon’s seasoned actor Chiatoh Collins has never been as excited as he was when he announced The Decision, a new home-made movie which is at the verge of release. “This is one of the best things I ever did in my acting life. I’m proud of this production and must say emphatically that it meets the agreed standards,” he told TIPTOPSTARS Editor on the line to Yaounde. “We’ll make sure Cameroonians watch this movie to see how far we’ve gone in this business,” Chiatoh added. The said movie has been undergoing post-production after shooting rounded off in Yaounde a couple of weeks ago. Upon release, The Decision, a KAF production, will be premiered throughout Cameroon, according to its producers. Then, the audience will discover the big story behind the block buster written by producer Alex Foleng, a soft-spoken young Cameroonian with countless hidden skills. According to the story in The Decision, a young and growing boy is spoilt by his parents. His dad, strong elite in the community’s traditional society would give his son for the latter to follow his footsteps. The young man is exuberantly exorbitant and goes to extremes. To daddy, it is no qualms until our protagonist is pricked by his conscience. He makes a dramatic encounter with a Reverend Pastor and things start turning around to the disadvantage of his father who wants the boy initiated traditionally at all cost. The decision must be reached but what decision and at what price? Find out as you watch The Decision, directed by Elvis Tanwie aka De Daddies.
