There is a growing yet, soothing anxiety among Cameroonians in particular and lovers of culture in general as the city of Antwerpen braces to host the first ever final of Miss Cameroon Belgium. “The décor is set and we’re looking forward to November 3, 2012 to reveal the handsome end-of-year gift to our audience,” one of the organizers told TIPTOPSTARS in Belgium.

This is a professionally busy weekend for song guru Yunick J. Yuniwoh. The Texas, USA-based gospel and a crew of skilful video technicians are out on locations shooting a clip for a latest song. It was an undoubtedly well prepared artiste when TIPTOPSTARS Editor spoke with Yunick on the linne to Texas earlier this week. He later informed us that shooting of Come From Afar will take place for two days.

Those who have followed the development trend of television technology would agree with this reporter that South Africa is a force to reckon with. It is an indisputable fact that some of the best things that have happened in television have come from this country. Then, that some of the people behind the scenes, making this industry tick are Cameroonians is what makes the story even more exciting. A good number of Cameroonian film makers involved in TV production in South Africa are creating a mark. This leaves observers with the belief that they are eventually going to become some of the best people making things happen in South African television.

One thing is clear – Cameroon now breeds more hyper talented music performers than one can imagine. Another thing – the country’s young people seem to possess the command baton in the art, making observers to conjecture a serious music revolution which may undoubtedly turn Cameroon into one of the world’s song havens. If such becomes the case, a good number of prominent singers would sure take the credit, including USA-based Naomi Achu.
