For the first time, renowned Haitian songwriter and accomplished dexterous dancer, Emeline Michel will be staging a world-class performance in Ohio’s chief city, Columbus. The artiste’s Columbus showdown falls within the ambits of the maiden annual Haitian Cultural Soiree, billed for Saturday, June 29, 2024. Her performance which promises to be electrifying is expected to attract a sizeable amount of attention, not only from the Haitian community, but also from other immigrant populace and Americans.
According to the CEO of Faveur & Company, the outfit on whose account the Haitian compass and rara star is flying to Columbus, the preparation to receive the artiste has reached higher gear. “That is the reason we are calling on Columbus residents to buy their tickets now for, time is not with us anymore,” Sophia Pierrelus told TIPTOPSTARS and Apex 1 Radio. Pierrelus said further: “It’s a lot of work to have this done, but we trust Emeline Michel’s performance in Columbus will be a success.”
Before her Columbus stop-over, the Haitian singer who was born in Gonaives has performed in Jacksonville in Florida, Boston in Massachusetts, and New York. She will also perform in Littlerock in Arkansas and Chicago in Illinois.  The artiste who doubles as a producer also merges jazz, pop, bossa nova, and samba in her songs.

MOLA MONGOMBE TO VIBRATE COLUMBUS

In what USA-based Cameroonian lovers of Bakweri traditional music are already speculating as going to be preeminent, Mola Mongombe is set to perform in Columbus Ohio for the first time on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The overly celebrated folkloric artiste will be in the United States on the invitation of Fako America to grace the latter’s 2024 annual convention billed for Arizona from June 28 to June 30.

Mola Mongombe’s Columbus music exhibit, expected to attract enormous attention, aligns with the official launching of EYOL’A COLUMBUS, the first Bakweri association in the city. Organizers say the venerated singer is the legitimate mantel to subsidize EYOL’A Columbus’ heralding of the Mokpe culture, at least for the night of the event.

In a video confirming his physical presence in the United States this Summer, Mongombe promises to light venues with electrifying performances for which the artiste is best known.

Mola Mongombe rose to the music rostrum a few years ago when he held his audience spellbound with the irresistible “Motimbeli”. The vocal macho man is also a dexterous guitarist who has easily won admiration for his music brilliance, marked in tracks such as “Soleil”, “Mokona”, “Endale”, “Ekome Yami”, “Lina Lami”, and scores of others.

MUSIC: Ko-C TO THRILL COLUMBUS
News / Latest / ??Ernest Kanjo??
••Sunday•, 11 •June• 2023 23:11•
tiptopstars com_KoC
Columbus is bracing to play host to one of Cameroon’s most celebrated urban artists in the history of the country’s music industry. Ko-C arrives in Ohio’s chief city on June 17, 2023, for what has been described as the most anticipated music concert in the African community. This is the first time the highly talented and admired rapper will be performing in Ohio, and this comes against the backdrop of his current summer music tour of the United States.

Ko-C will be served to the Columbus public thanks to 614 Kings, an Ohio-based entertainment promotion outfit run by Rex Mbouge, himself an ace promoter of arts and culture and a longtime renowned leader within the African community. “I cannot wait to have this great experience with my favorite artist – that Ko-C will be in Columbus, is one of the biggest things happening to me this year,” Marthe, a Columbus fan of the rapper said.

“I’m super excited and cannot hold my anxiety – Ko-C is King and I just can’t wait to watch him perform live on the night of June the seventeenth,” Prina, another fan said.

Organizers of the concert including Papa Zaraa, Kenzo Dollar and Loyalty Market, have stated that the topnotch event will kick off at 7:59pm and have insisted that music lovers attending should dress to impress.

Since coming to the limelight in 2017, the rapper who doubles as songwriter and singer has been relevant not only in the Cameroonian music industry, but across Africa. He is currently trending, thanks to DUEX OEUFS SPAGHETTI, released in February 2023 with 6.6 million views (and counting) on YouTube. The track has been source of Tiktok content across different African online communities. Ko-C has won eight awards, including a Best Male Artist in 2019, Artist of The Year in 2021 and Best Urban Artist recognition the same year.

Ko-C comes to Columbus less than a year after Tzy Panchak, another trending urban artist in Cameroon. Other musicians such as Magasco, Mr Leo, Minks, etc, have previously thrilled the Cameroonian community in the city.

For more information, read the official poster for the event.
