Poetry: Two times I called |

Two times I called Two times I called Two times you rejected my call Lost in so many questions I ask Do you regret hurting me and realizing You lost the one person you could love. After searching so many years to love Do you believe, I'm irreplaceable Do you now accept you lost to your game Instead of floating I am drowning to burden thoughts of you Two times I called Two times You ignored my call Here, I am wondering If you called it a night at noon Has time elapsed for you Perturbed by your silence I ask myself, are you alive If only you picked my call We will be together I won't be worried sick drowning to burden thoughts (C) Sharon Dione March 26th |
