It sounds like an end-of-year gift! That Cameroonian actors and technicians will have another golden opportunity to improve on their skills and learn new ones is a thing to be elated about. A weeklong workshop is being organized to that effect. Coming up from 19-24 20 November 2012, “Know Your Craft”, as the workshop is dubbed is expected to introduce ample knowledge to actors and technicians in areas such as acting, scene study, auditioning, camera operations, lighting, sound, photography and directing.
Organized by three outstanding film production companies - African Pictures International, Penjo Entertainment and My Passion My Life Media Inc, the Buea rendezvous is expected to pull a reasonable number of participants who in turn will be tasked to put into practice what they would have gathered.
According to organizers, Chinere Xandria Anyaene, the celebrated director of Ije (said to a big selling West African crossing film) and starring Nollywood’s Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade Ekeinde will make a one-day stop-over as special guess. In the course of the workshop, Ije will be projected, followed by a question and answer session.
