![]() Anxiety grips CEA fans There is a sweeping wave of anxiety among Cameroonians and Africa living around the globe as the D-Day for the Cameroon Entertainment Awards, CEA approaches. This grand cultural event has been the talk of the country/continent/diaspora for quite some time now. From every indication, the initiative has been bought wholeheartedly. The only major challenge now is putting the bits together to ensure a hitch-free event come July 28 in the seat of the White House, affectionately known as DC. Meantime, there are relentless efforts behind the scenes to get things set for CEA I. Nominees and other potential guests are being required to provide contact information for onward transmission of salient correspondences. Organizers say there will be several revelations on the event in the coming days. Let the music play on! Voting issues resolved The technical problems faced in the process of voting for CEA contestants have been looked into. In a facebook massage, the CEA Executive Producer, Maybelle Boma has explained the process, after adjustments made to that effect. It reads: “Fans can vote in 2ways at the CEA website. Log in with CEA account or sign up if you don't. Select category from the award list and click the vote button to register your vote. You can also vote through your facebook account by logging in at the top right hand corner of the page. Provide account details and it will direct you to the website. Then, select the category and click vote button to vote for your favourite nominees. Only registered users can vote. We truly hope this works for all.” There is more coming up as things unfold. |
