What is the way forward?

Young people who want to succeed in showbiz should learn to say no to sex-hungry directors or producers. They can still find managers who will help them without demanding sex. They should only write films or compose songs that have salient messages such HIV and AIDS, peace, genuine love, etc.

How would you assess Ateh Bazore?

I’m a responsible musician whose goal is to help build society. You would be amaze to know that I neither sing sex nor perform in night clubs, but the public loves me. My songs are savoured at homes, in cars. I’m also invited to perform at official ceremonies, in the presence of those who matter in society. Who won’t be proud to be such an artistes. Young people should shun sex in showbiz. They’ll still be stars if they did that.
