NEBA LAWRENCE
Yaounde-based film director, Neba Lawrence is
in Mamfe. Reason: Larry is directing My Tradition, an Agbor Steve film.
The Youngest as Neba is fondly called left Yaounde a couple of days ago for the Manyu
Divisional headquarters. Reports say shooting of My Tradition has been
moving on smoothly and has attracted the anxiety of the people of that area.
Many of them are said to have started showing their appetite for a movie which
will only be released in the coming months. Neba Lawrence is back on the job he
knows best, a few months after directing Forsaken Rose, his own movie. He has
promised to make My Tradition a reference movie, in terms of directing. Neba,
also producer/director of Black Vampire is an award-winning
director, having grabbed the ACE Awards 2007 best youngest and daring film
director. He is soft-spoken, humble, committed and hard working and is part of
the Cameroon Film Industry (CFI) team that will exhibit our movies at the
National Festival of Arts and Culture (FENAC) in Maroua.
