Showbiz, more than ever has been associated with sex. This is because many showbiz stars have found pleasure and perhaps financial benefit in adding pornography including in their audio as well as visual products. They argue that society is more interested in what is pornographic than decency and so must be served with it. Fortunately, some of them have held strong to decency and would rather not make good sales than introduce morale decadence into society. One of them is popular Cameroonian folklore singer, Ateh Bazore who frowns at such obscenity. The author of “Yi Kfe Ilah”, a hit track in his current album urges youths to vomit pornographic artists and on applaud decent ones.

It is a business activity carried out by artists, comprising of compositing, production, distribution and commercialisation of their works. It could be music, movies, etc.

Why is showbiz associated with sex?

The nature of the activity makes the people in it famous. Erroneously, some of them believe that fame must come with sex, since many girls or women quickly admire and fall in love with them.
