Even
the underprivileged children will soon be movie stars. Cameroonian film-maker,
Zigoto Tchaya Tchameni has set up an NGO to train them in film-making. This was
the objective of his recent trip to Cameroon
from the UK
where he has been studying on a Chevening Scholarship. During their stay in Cameroon, Zigoto and 14 other schoolmates shot a
movie in Babessi, in the North
West Province.
Zigoto is author of three movies; Public Order (2005), Taboo (2007) and I’m Sorry
(yet to be released). He has a wide travelling experience and plans to do more
for young Cameroonian film makers.
