No sleep for Zigoto Tchaya Tchamani. The young Cameroonian film maker, currently studying film making on a Cheveneng scholarship can’t help taking off time from his schedule to edit I’m Sorry in a London studio. “Movie fans back home are not only itchy to have the movie in the market, but have expressed the desire to savour a quality product,” says Zigoto from London. He adds, “I’m Sorry will meet international standards, reason why editing is being done with a lot of diligence.” The 80-minute movie which touches child abuse and racial discrimination was shot in Yaounde last year. It features both Cameroonian and European actors and actresses including; Buminang Elvis, Nancy Kienyo, Ngemfack Bernard, Tume Balon, Ngang Courage Bradley Bob (child actor), Sarah Alison Rank (British), Richard Watts (British) and Maud Juquois (French). Check it in video shops by the end of 2008. |
