She is 1.70 metres tall and weighs 58kg. She is dark and well-build. Her ebony complexion would normally charm. She is simply beautiful! Organisers of the next edition of the Miss Cameroon beauty contest will describe her better in the coming weeks. Bih Nathalie believes that her time has come to show Cameroon and the world at large, what stuff she is made of. Apart from showcasing her beauty, Nathalie also wants to use her status as a beauty queen to promote the culture of Cameroon. “If voted, I’ll encourage youths to love and promote our culture,” says the Yaounde-based actress. “I’ll also use the opportunity to learn more leadership skills,” she adds. Nathalie has also pledged to use her status as Miss Cameroon, if voted, to promote the film industry in her country. “You know cinema is not only my passion, but a domain I hope to stay in and get to the apex,” she confirms. The beauty queen however thinks that protecting youths against STIs, HIV and AIDS remains her top priority. She will sensitize youths against these diseases, if voted as the next Miss Cameroon, she explains. A graduate from the University of Yaounde I, Nathalie hails from Akum in Mezam Division of the North West Region. She went to GHS Santa where she was Miss Coca Cola in 1998. She has trained at a Yaounde centre for modelling where she learnt cat walking. She has featured in the up-coming 52-episode serial, My Successor. She is currently contesting for the Miss Cameroon competition at the level of the North West Region. If she wins, she will be going in for the national finals.
